Art and Life, part two: Lunch with Xavier Veilhan

Earlier today I shared photos from my visit with Antony Gormley. On that same trip, I also went to Paris to visit Xavier Veilhan who will be doing the most elaborate Intersections project so far, opening on November 3, including sculptures, paintings, and photographs. Besides making art (in photos below, his new dripping paintings just for the Phillips), he makes really good food and starts from scratch–purely “bio” as they say in France, meaning organic: risotto with truffles.

O-la-la, there is more to art: simple pleasures of life. Bon Appétit.
