Your Daily Dose of Awesome

On occasion I encounter a piece of art that makes me want to stand up and cheer because it’s 1) smart 2) creative 3) funny 4) generally badass. This happened to me last night while watching the below entry by video artist Patrick Jean during the Washington Project for the Art‘s annual Experimental Media Series, which we hosted in the museum’s auditorium.

To see this and more video art (including a piece by the Phillip’s own Michelle Lisa Herman), visit Artisphere next Thursday, May 10 at 6:30 pm.

  3. I completely agree with you, every once something in a gallery, museum, or on the side of the road, will make you smile and you will want to share it with someone else. This was certainly one of those pieces. Today I visited two very different exhibitions at two very different galleries but I felt the same way.

Unlike your video, these need to be experienced in person! Check them out –
