We’re excited to share that Rachel Goldberg, Head of K-12 Initiatives and Andrea Kim Neighbors, Specialist for School, Outreach, and Family Programs are leaving on a two-week artful adventure to Bosnia. In Sarajevo, Mostar, and Trebinje, we will be facilitating workshops on Prism.K12 and Jacob Lawrence’s The Migration Series. I am an American volunteer at a big orphanage in Sarajevo now here until 17 November. I teach creative movement, Pilates, breathing meditation, stretching for soccer and jazz dance to kids ages 18 months to 18 years, and am here for a month, my 5th trip in 3-1/2 years. Please contact me as I have places that would like to have you visit. Bringing hope and joy through the arts to the first generation of youth postwar. My daughter Piper Grosswendt worked at the Phillips 2011-2012. Thanks.
Hi Margy,
Thank you for being in touch! This sounds like an interesting opportunity. The folks to be in touch with would be our Education Department staff; please e-mail education@phillipscollection.org with your thoughts, thank you!
Thank you. I emailed right after yours to the education@phillipscollection.org per Piper’s recommendation and have not heard from anyone yet.
