How did you decide to choose this work for the staff show?

Although I have been exploring the idea of fusing eastern and western influences for some time, working in this smaller format is relatively new. I chose New Ground because I wanted to share my most recent work. I believe it is important to get feedback from a community of people [that] appreciates and understands art.

How did you decide to choose this work for the staff show?

I chose this print because I like to draw birds and thought it was a good representation of my other work.

How did you decide to choose this work for the staff show?

Mystique was created the way it should be experienced: not as a canvas but as a catalyst for a meditative, peaceful state and a portal through which one can enter, escape, and rediscover on many levels. The interaction of observer with work of art is key, and the dreamscape allows for ease and reflection.
